Accord & Clarity Ranked on Car and Driver’s 2021 Mid-Size Family Sedan List

2021 Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid

Car and Driver has ranked every new mid-size sedan for 2021 and the Honda Clarity and Accord have both made the list. The list consists of 11 2021 sedans that return excellent fuel economy and provide nearly as much utility as some small SUVs.

The 2021 Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid earned a spot on this list because it is both family friendly and environmentally friendly. The Clarity Plug-In Hybrid offers the same benefits of an electric car with the freedom of a Hybrid.

It uses a high capacity battery for longer all-electric driving and uses a gas-powered engine as a backup when electricity runs low.

The Clarity features a roomy and comfortable interior with well-shaped front seats that can accommodate large adults. The trunk offers 16 cubic feet of cargo area. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system is standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2021 Honda Accord Hybrid

The 2021 Honda Accord landed the top spot on Car and Driver’s list! The Accord has been around for 45 years and has collected 35 ‘10Best’ wins from Car and Driver and the 2021 Accord is just as playful and useful as ever.

For 2021, the Accord received a slight style refresh that includes a new grille design, two optional LED headlamps, new Alloy wheel designs, and a new Sonic Gray Pearl exterior color. An 8-inch infotainment display is now standard equipment along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with wireless connection on EX-L and Touring trims.
