2022 Honda Pilot – Available Trim Levels
The versatile and family friendly 2022 Honda Pilot arrives with an expanded list of standard features including a large 8-inch Display Audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and LED headlamps!
A new Sonic Gray Pearl exterior paint color will also be available this fall, along with a well-equipped new entry trim level aimed at younger buyers with active lifestyles.
“We’re excited to offer the 2022 Pilot this early in the model year, with the features, rugged capabilities, and great value Honda customers want,” said Mike Kistemaker, AVP of Honda Automobile sales. “With a new entry trim level coming this fall, the Pilot lineup is aimed right at the heart of the 3-row SUV market, with useful features and the great packaging our customers love.”
The Pilot lineup currently includes the EX-L, Special Edition, Touring, Elite, and Black Edition trims.
Pilot EX-L
The 2022 Pilot EX-L is equipped with black leather upholstery, and 8-inch touchscreen, and smartphone connectivity as standard. The driver’s seat has 10-way power adjustability, including lumbar support adjustability. Heated front seats are available and electronically controlled second row seats make for easy access to the third row with the push of a button.
Other key functions include a one-touch power moonroof, four-way power front passenger seat, a leather wrapped steering wheel, second row sunshades, auto-dimming rearview mirror, HomeLink remote system, and blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert.
Special Edition (SE) Pilot
Most changes on the Special Edition Pilot are on the exterior. A blacked out grille compliments the black roof rails and 20-inch black wheels, especially when paired with the Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint. A hands-free tailgate and wireless phone charger are also included on the Special Edition Trim.
Pilot Touring
The Touring trim offers the option of seven-passenger seating with two heated captain’s chairs in the second row. Also, CabinTalk in-car PA system is available so that the driver can easily conversate with passengers in the back seats.
More features include a 10.2-inch rear entertainment system screen, front and rear parking sensors, Wi-Fi hotspot, illuminated cup holders, chrome door handles, and LED headlights.
Pilot Elite
The Honda Pilot Elite is only available in the seven-seat configuration with captain’s chairs in the second row which gain ventilation abilities. A panoramic moonroof is also added to the Elite trim along with rain-sensing windshield wipers, power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. All-wheel drive is also standard on the Elite trim.
Black Edition
The Black Edition Pilot is also only available as a seven-seater, but slightly changes things up compared to the Elite trim. This model gets a black exterior trim all around, and 20-inch black wheels. It’s unique interior features Black Edition badging, red accents, and red ambient lighting.
