2020 Honda Accord | Electronic Parking Brake & Automatic Brake Hold
The Electronic Parking Brake in the 2020 Honda Accord makes setting and releasing the brake a very simple task. To engage the parking brake, simply lift the button on the center console up; the button will light up to indicate the Parking Brake is engaged. To release the Parking brake, press the brake pedal down, and the light will go off. When the accelerator is pressed, the Parking Brake will disengage as well.
The Brake Hold button below the Electronic Parking Brake can be used to keep the car from drifting into the vehicle in front of, or behind you. After bringing the car to a stop, pushing the Brake Hold button will keep the vehicle stopped even if you take your foot off of the brake. The brake will automatically release when the accelerator is pressed.
